Abstract:Samples of demersal fishes were taken with trawlnet seasonally for a 2-year period (1982 to 1984) on the continental shelf, ranging in depth from 40 to 260m. Fifty-eight stations are grouped into 5 major clusters using complementary classification, and mufti-diwensional scaling ordination techniques. These are both based on root-rant transformed mean biomass data with the Bray-Gurtis measure of similarity. Faunal changes over 40, 100, and 200m isobeths separate regions of relative faunal homogeneity. One faunal assemblage can be identified in the area to the west of the Taiwan Bank, a second along the 40ui isobeths, a third between the 40 and 100m isobeths, a fourth between the 100 and 20flzn isobeths, and a fifth an the continental shelf edge.Each assemblage was charaeterized by faunal composition,catch rates, species diversity and dominant species, as well as the environmental conditions the assemblage adapts to. Faunal changes are probably clue to the gradients of temperature, salinity and depth, as well as differences in sediment type. That the fish fauna are zoned with depth may be established on the shelf. The zonatian reflects joint response to environniental factors, The dramatic faunal changes at the shelf edge are mainly induced by rapid increase in depth and decline in bottom temperature, and the 200m isobeth may be suggested as the boundary of the shelf fauna. The community structure was considerably changed by fishing, especially in shallower zones. There might be potential for changing the patterns of fishing by area regulation to obtain fine turning of the community.

Abstract:Tha analyses of the data collected in recent years, together with the invdstigation results from some fisheries research organisations in the past,have shown that the fluctuations of the annual runoff of Changjiang River mostly and directly affect on the temperature, salinity and the distribution of the diluted water in the Changjiang Estuary and its ad jacent sea areas.The outstanding correlations between Changjiang River runoff and the magnitude areas And their distributions of zooplankton bionzass in the coastal waters, the positrons of the commercially important fishing grounds, and the catches of same important commercial fishes have been found also. Some historical facts in the fisheries of hairtail, Ohub mackerel and scads in tha ChangJiang Estuary, Zhoushan anal Yushan Tishing Grounds are to be used to illustrate the phenomena mentioned above.

Abstract:In the recent years, the two rainbow trout viral diseases (IHN and IPN) were spread. over northeast China through import of infected eggs. IHN and IPN has now been diagnosed in four trouts farms. The first record of the IHN occurred in 1985, rainbow trout fry were infected in Bahai eaid water fish egpe mental station. Another major outbreak occurred in Benxi Rainbow Trout Farm in April 1986 where 100%of 600, 000 rainbow trout fry died in 3-15 days after the onset of the disease. IPN was first observed in Eohai Cold Water Fish Experimental Station in May 1987, and about 50,000 rainbaw trout fry died. The infection originated from eggs which were imparted from Japan.

Abstract:Experiments of tagging and. recovery of Chinese Prawn (Penasus orienialis Kisninouye)were conducted in Liaodong Bay. Surveys were made under such topics as the choice of sites,the suitable sire of seeding fry and the result of recovery rate through tagging. During the past three years, thv total number of 123.572 tagged prawns were released and the total recovery number was 1, 233. The results showed that the mouth of Liao He River was an ideal site far releasing the tagged prawns. During the autumn harvest season, it was found that the migration and distribution of the the prawn covered the traditional central fishing zones. The tagged prawn was successfully recaptured in the spawning gorund and also in the overwintering ground. The suitable body length of the fry for tagging is over 5 cm.Tn this case, the rate of recapture is higher, its best percentage being 3.31%.This study provides a scientific basis for the eaplaitatian of production range of prawn releasing in Liaodang Bay.

Abstract:The Eute}pe acutifrons(Copepods: Harpacticoida) which was cultured with Heteragroeu sp. (Xanthophyta:Heterocapsales) all the year round was sampled and sifted from Xiamen Harbour.The laboratory experiment showed that the higher density of Heterogroea ap. was unfavourable for culture, but the higher erature was favourable for interval spawning and hatching process of capepods. The Euterpe acutifrons was one of the fins living food for larvae of fish and prawns.

Abstract:The formation of histamine in mackerel and other species of fish dring different canditions of storage was studied. The content of histamine in fish was measured colorimetrically by using azo-reagent as colour developer after symples were pretreated with iron exchange resin. The pretreament possesses the advantages of high recovery and easy operation. The experimental results showed that the formation rate of histamine increased with the rise of storage temperature. At 0℃ storage the rate of formation greatly slowed down. based on the temperature of storage and time, the histamine content can be computed. It is therefore applicable to evaluate the guality of fish, and the accidental toxication by histamine might be avoided accordingly..

Abstract:在我国大、中型水产冷藏库中,一般都采用上吹风或下吹风式隧道吹风冻结装置,适用于大批量的冻结15~20公斤裸冻鱼块。但由于近年来海洋渔业资源的变化,经济海水鱼产量比例逐年下降,各地又新建了许多小型水产冷藏库,对捕获的虾、蟹、小杂鱼等水产品都实行小包装冻结加工方式,不但市销很受欢迎,而且还可以出口换取外汇。

Abstract:The pxesent paper deals with the growth and feeding habits of the whitecrucian carp at different developulent stages under pond-rearing conditions in Sichuan. The relationship of body length (L)/age (t) falls on a striaght line, while that of weight(W)/age (t) is eapanential. The regression equation of length or weight and age are determined through calculation. The growth of the fingerling is vary fast in the first 20 days, aad gradually slower afterwards. The demarcatian is at the body length reached to 20 mm. The adult takes more plants and debris than animals foods.
